What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, phone number, postcode, credit card information or other details to help you with your experience and to be able to find suitable and the closest venues for you to join.

This information is never shared with any other company or person, with the exception of our partners Chalkboard app, which is an app based text messaging service that is used to communicate with team captains once the team signs up. The only information we collect from you is the minimum we need for us to function and to deliver our products and services.

All transactions on this site are securely directed through PayPal. The only information we see is whether or not the transaction was successful along with your e-mail and physical address information so that we may let you know the status of your order.

We don’t receive or process any of your financial information. Your credit card information is NOT stored on our server and only PayPal sees your credit card information.

Messages and transactions sent through our site are encrypted and protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser.

When you use our website, we will collect personal information about you using cookies and other digital media technologies details of which are contained in our Cookies Policy. We will receive and store information about the type of device you use to access our website, what operating system you have, some of your device settings and your IP address. We will record details of your visits to our website, which pages you view, how long you dwell on them, the website you came to our site from and the website you leave our site to.

Depending on your settings or the privacy policies of the social media platforms and messaging services you use (e.g. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp etc.) you may allow us to access information from those services for example if you publicly “like” or “follow” us we may be able to collect information from your social media profile. We strongly advise you to check the privacy settings on your social media accounts to ensure that you know what information is shared with us and others

We use Facebook customer audiences to deliver advertisements to website visitors on Facebook based on email addresses that we have collected. This tool allows us to personalise our ads based on your experience with us.

These cookies will not include any personal information, and just contain an ID that allows our system to save your shopping session as you browse our website. There are no security implications for these cookies as they do not store any sensitive information. However, if you disable the shopping cookie, the shopping system may not function correctly.

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
